Even Bicycle Presta tubes now include removable cores. This gives you the added option of using tire sealant inside the tube of your standard tire. Removable cores are not always fully tightened at the factory. A loose core could cause slow leaks, or could even become unscrewed while using inflation devices. Tubes should be checked during installation and regularly afterwards for Presta core tightness. Don't carry an extra tool for chains! The Prestalever quick-link breaker is an effective emergency tool if you need to remove your chain on the road. When you hand-install the bead in one direction, the tire starts lifting-out at the other end. Insert the lever at one end to hold the bead, then use BOTH hands to install the tire from the other end. Tubeless Tire Removal (or any Difficult Tire) The Prestalever is the #1 tool for removing difficult tires. Using two or three can help with the toughest tire and wheel combo's. Insert a lever, but do NOT flip it yet. The rim hook will hold the lever in place, but unlike traditional levers that hook onto spokes, the bead will NOT be tensioned. You can still fit-in more Prestalevers. Insert the levers spaced about 6 inches apart, then flip them all … one-at-a-time. Even the toughest tires will come right off the rim in seconds. The BKM-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit will bleed most models of mineral oil-based hydraulic bicycle disc brakes, including models made by Shimano®, Magura®, TRP®, Tektro®, Trick Stuff®, SRAM® DB8, Campagnolo®, Promax®, and Clarks®. Bleeding of hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the braking system, for long-lasting components and peak performance. The BKM-1.2 is built for the rigors of daily commercial use and includes two syringes, hoses with shutoff clips, multi-size bleed blocks, a bleed funnel, and a set of our unique mountable syringe holders, as well as multiple hose fittings to fit the multiple standards found on hydraulic bicycle brake systems. Every part is replaceable and available from Park Tool. Housed in a rugged storage case.
